Trekker Glamping is a boutique sanctuary in the mountains, where luxury is measured in starry skies, sublime sunsets, and moments of deep connection. Here, you come to live a transformative experience, to disconnect from the noise of the outside world and to share quality time with yourself, your partner, your family, or your children.
Seasons and Rhythms of the Sierra
Dry Season (December – April): Sunny mornings, mild heat during the day, and cool nights. Perfect for hiking and bird watching.
Rainy Season (May – November): Intense rains, lightning, and thunder that illuminate the mountain. The jungle comes alive with exuberant green; power outages may occur (we have a backup generator).
Cicada Season (February – May): After 7 to 14 years underground, the cicadas emerge and sing in unison. Their chorus announces abundance and transformation. A unique symphony of the Sierra.
Hurricane Season (September – November): Torrential rains and electric storms that showcase the pure force of nature.
FAUNA AND FLORA
The Sierra is a living, vibrant, and diverse ecosystem:
Birds: More than 300 species (hummingbirds, toucans, owls, eagles).
Insects: Grasshoppers, mantises, butterflies, cicadas.
Amphibians: Frogs and toads that announce the rain.
Reptiles: From harmless snakes to venomous species. With respect and caution, coexistence is safe and fascinating.
At Trekker, you will learn to observe and coexist with nature as a fundamental part of your transformative experience
